    南方财经全媒体记者李依农 上海报道

Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris held their first and perhaps only debate on Tuesday (Sep 10) in Philadelphia, ahead of the November presidential election.

How do foreign businesses view the potential impact of the candidates' differing economic policies? Allan Gabor, Chairman of The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, spoke with an SFC journalist about these concerns.

According to the latest survey, geopolitical issues are the primary concern for the Chamber's members. Allan Gabor noted, "Most of the companies here strongly support ongoing dialogue between the two governments (of China and the U.S.)." He emphasized that regardless of which administration takes office, continued dialogue between the two countries will significantly benefit companies operating in China and shape perspectives on U.S.-China trade relations.
